I am very pleased that you have decided to join us for the Soft Sundays Healing Circle. To ensure that there is a clear understanding of what to expect from each other, this STATEMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS is to confirm the terms of our engagement and to clarify the nature and extent of services we will provide.


Investment of Time:

● You understand that each session is one hour and 30 minutes long.

● You understand that if you have not joined the session by the 15 minutes past mark, you will not be given access to the session, and you forfeit any payment that has been paid for said session(s).

Payments:

● By purchasing either the Group Subscription or a Drop-In Session, you authorize me to charge the credit or debit card you entered for the service.

● You acknowledge that the payments you made for the service are to secure your spot in the program, and are non-refundable once paid.

Declined Payments:

If your payment is declined on the first attempt, a continued attempt to process the scheduled payment will be made for the subsequent 7 days after payment is due. Any credit/debit card payment declines not resolved within this 7-day time frame will incur an additional, one-time collection fee of $50.00.

“Soft Sundays” Group Agreements:

● You acknowledge and agree that the "Soft Sundays" Healing Circle is NOT a psychotherapy/counseling group, and psychotherapy/counseling will NOT be provided.

● You acknowledge and agree that you have the right to confidentiality and privacy by the group facilitator and other group members.

● You acknowledge and agree that as the group facilitator leader, I may not disclose any of your client communication or information except as provided by law.

● You acknowledge and agree that group members are NOT required to maintain the confidentiality of any group members, and as such, confidentiality between group members is often based on mutual trust and respect.

● You acknowledge and agree to maintain respect and professionalism with other attendees and group leaders during sessions.

● You acknowledge and agree that the group facilitator reserves the copyright to any and all materials and content created and provided to and/or shared with you in connection with your enrollment.

● You acknowledge and agree that audio or video taping of any sessions are not permitted in any means whatsoever by you or any participant.

DISCLAIMER OF GUARANTEE AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Nothing in this Agreement and nothing in my statements to you will be construed as a promise or guarantee about the outcome of your life upon completion of the Soft Sundays Healing Circle. While you may receive opinions, resources, or referrals from the group, all implementation decisions are solely yours and you are fully responsible for those decisions. You acknowledge and agree that you assume liability for any damages related to the use, misuse of, or reliance upon the information provided as part of the group and agree to indemnify, and hold me harmless from and against all liabilities and expense whatsoever.

TERMINATION OF PERFORMANCE OBLIGATIONS

You acknowledge that your failure to comply with the above-referenced terms and duties shall constitute default of this agreement. Upon default, notice of default will be provided to you by email to the email address listed herein. In my sole and absolute discretion, I may limit, suspend, or terminate your participation in the Soft Sundays Healing Circle as a result of your failure to comply. You understand that upon termination, you will neither recoup payments made to the "Soft Sundays" Healing Circle, nor will you be entitled to a refund.

CHOICE OF LAW

This agreement shall be construed under and governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any action brought under this Agreement must be brought in the State of Maryland. Each party submits to the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland for any action that arises out of or under this Agreement.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision, clause, terms, or words of this Agreement is declared void or unenforceable, the unenforceable provision, clause, terms, or words will be deemed severed from this agreement, and all remaining provisions, clauses, terms or words will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

ATTORNEY’S FEES AND INTEREST

In the event of any breach of this Agreement and action for enforcement hereof, the prevailing party may recover from the other party all costs, and expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees.

By checking this box and submitting your payment, you are hiring me to proceed with the requested services and agree to the terms and conditions as set forth above.
